Our Gallery

At Ex Nihilo, art has always been at the heart of our philosophy. The winery was thoughtfully designed to showcase the talent of local artists, reflecting the deep connection between wine and art found throughout the valley.

Inspired by our name, Ex Nihilo—meaning “creation from nothing”—we named our gallery Creatio Ex Nihilo. This concept resonates with many artists who begin each work from a blank canvas, creating something entirely original.

In partnership with Gallery 421, we hand-select emerging and established artists, primarily from British Columbia. Our gallery focuses on contemporary figurative and conceptual abstract works—pieces that highlight strong technique, thoughtful use of materials, and creative expression.

Submissions

Artists interested in showing at Creatio Ex Nihilo and feel their artwork would be a good fit are encouraged to contact our partners at Gallery421.

Please ensure the following are included:

  • A copy of your Curriculum Vitae including exhibition history, gallery affiliations and association memberships.
  • Artist Statement/Artist Biography.
  • 5-10 photos of your work, with accompanying list of materials used, size, date completed and retail price.
