2015 Pinot Noir
Hints of strawberry jam, sweet thyme, nutmeg, and white pepper!
WINE MAKING NOTES
The grapes were handpicked off both our Lake Country and North Okanagan vineyard site in October. After whole berry fermentation in stainless tanks, the 2015 Pinot Noir was then aged 9 months in 100% French oak, and 20% new oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Aromas of ripe red plums and Okanagan cherries are followed by bursts of berry jam and white flowers on the pallet. This Pinot Noir has delicate silky tannins, hints of sweet thyme, nutmeg, and white pepper bounce thought out the finish. 9 months in French Oak, which add smooth aromas of vanilla bean and white caramel.
