This perfectly sloped Naramata single vineyard Syrah is meticulously farmed using minuscule irrigation.
This wine has excellent cellaring potential with bright and expressive blackberry and plum characteristics, the palate continues with hints of white pepper, savoury sage and cedar notes. Cured delicatessen and cassis sprinkled with cocoa round out the lingering plush finish.

Winemaker Notes
At Ex Nihilo we do like to hang the fruit as long as possible, but in 2019 we really pushed it.
It was a normal ferment, about 18 days. After fermenting wine was put into barrel and put aside until it completed MLF. After MLF was complete the wine was put back into tank for another blending, and then back into barrel where it rested for 22 months until it was ready for the bottle.
