2020 Night
Night...a forgotten story in the phenomenon of wine.
Ex Nihilo Night was created in honour of the mysterious balance the night brings to our vineyards. The cool nights' air off the mountain range and lakes lowers the vineyard temperature just enough to slow down the ripening process to develop richer fruit with more complexity.
Grapes from our Black Sage Bench and Golden Mile vineyards were selected to create this elegant blend of 43% Merlot, 19% Malbec, 14%Cabernet Franc, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 11% Petit Verdot.
After 19 months in French oak this Bordeaux style red wine is perfectly balanced with aromas of plum, blueberry, blackberry and cassis. The palate boasts favours of haskap berry, blueberry, vanilla, fresh ground espresso and a touch of eucalyptus. The silky tannin finish is as long as warm Okanagan nights...

This wine has become one of our favorites and go to red wines. It is full of flavour and perfect with a tomato based pasta, Lamb and/or Beef. Decanting is a must for it to reach it's full potential.

We love the Night wine, and often enjoy it in the evening with a nice dinner! This is a rich, full bodied wine that hits on several levels for us. I have recommended this to others when talking in the liquor store, and given this as a gift.

This is one of the best, if not the best meritage wine I have had the pleasure to savour/enjoy. It is a rich and flavourful wine that is best when allowed to breathe.
