Breaking Ground
The Better Together campaign received extraordinary community support in the first 12 months, enough for construction to begin in the fall of 2018.
Over 150 campaign donors, including Janet and Mike Azhadi, joined hospital staff and the KGH Foundation on the future site of JoeAnna's House to officially launch the build phase of the project.

Home is where you find comfort with those you love. Nobody understands that better than the thousands of families from BC’s interior whose medical needs take them far from the comfort of their own homes each year. Opened in 2019 and steps away from Kelowna General Hospital,
JoeAnna’s House provides accommodations for out-of-town families with loved ones receiving care at KGH.
