Tasting Notes
Our 2015 vintage is a Merlot of true distinction, robust yet elegant. Luscious ripe fruit from our Oliver vineyard was aged 18 months in one and two year old French Oak barrels. The result is a balanced wine with depth, soft grained tannins and an endless finish.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were handpicked off Secrest Hill Road in Oliver in late October. Fermented in stainless tanks, the 2015 Merlot aged for 18 months in 1 and 2 year French Oak barrels. This Merlot spent 6 weeks extended time on the skins after fermentation to further intensify the wine.
